“This was a last minute booking for us. We literally booked it 20 minutes before our after-hours arrival on a Sunday night. We got there, it was well lit, we called the after hours # and were greeted within minutes. Parking on site close to our room, and complementary. The room was perfect, clean and modern. There were vending machines for snacks and drinks also in well lit areas. The location is great freeway close, but also in a nice safe quiet area , on a great street where you can walk around……

“This is a nice, clean and convenient hotel and only 5 minutes to SLO and 2 minutes to Whole Foods and other shopping. The staff and manager are top notch, friendly and accommodating. While it has a nice pool, the only thing lacking is a jacuzzi. I have stayed here for 4-5 days for each of the past 3 weeks for work and will be returning for 2 more weeks.”

“This is a nice property. The only downsides are two: 1) weekend breakfast is too late for an early traveler and 2) Every single time I stay at an Embassy Suites something is broken in the room. Every time! They don’t check the rooms at all and wait for the weary traveler to complain. And the room was not cheap. ”

“Beautiful spot if you book one of the rooms overlooking the ocean. Very nice walk on the promenade and you can walk down some steps to access the beach. ”

“While there isn't much in the way of 'personality' in this hotel, it is very clean, comfortable and offers a super breakfast. The pool is very small but kids will still have fun there. Staff is friendly but you really don't interact much with staff outside the breakfast room. Strange things: our towels were replaced but the coffee and cups were not replenished. Had enough but just a little strange. Beds were made daily. Very comfy quiet place and convenient parking, great location. Dog……

“We have visited often to SLO over the past 4-5 years and this is a gem compared to many other options. This was first time at Petit Soleil and it will not be our last! Happy hour was pleasant surprise and the breakfast lovely. ”
